Wife: Sherry - married for 30 wonderful, glorious years
Children: Heather - 27 yrs old, married to SSG Chris Prokup, who is
currently serving his second tour overseas. She has an Australian Shepard named Rotor Blade & a papillon named Pazzo.
Kelly - 24 yrs old, a 5th grade teacher at Moses Y Beach Elementary
School and is currently finishing up her Masters degree.
Megan - 22 yrs old, part of the first generation of Congenital Heart
Defect survivors. She is currently learning to drive while taking care
of her mini dachshund, Fiona.
I have always been into cars - from learning how to drive on a 1962
Buick LeSabre, with a 410 Wildcat engine - to a 1964 Malibu - to a 1964
Chevelle SS - to my current car, a 1937 LaSalle. If it goes fast and
straight, fast with left turns, or just fun to drive...I like it.
Sherry and I got married in 1975 and have 3 daughters. Heather, our
oldest, shares the same interest in cars. She went to her senior prom in
Steve's '34 Sedan, and then used his '56 & '57 Chevy's as wedding
limos.
I have worked at Tilcon, a construction company, for 32 years. I
currently run a front end loader, and am in charge of the sand pit area used for the Swap Meet parking, where I earned the nickname, "Sand Pit
John".
I enjoy working on my "Big Toy" and trying to decide on the next
project car. With the wide variety of rides that C.S.R.A. members have, this choice may take awhile.
