Junie Barretta
Wife’s name: Donna. We were married in 1965 and have two grown kids, Frank & Vikki. Both are now married. We have four Grandchildren, Vikki has Dylan and Ashley, Frank has Ryan and Allison.

My interest has always been in cars. Once I began to help my son build his T-Bucket, that got me started. In the early 80's, my first street rod was a '34 Chevy Sedan, which I had chopped and dropped. I have also built a green '48 Chevy pick-up with the help of friends. I sold my sedan in 2003 and found my next street rod in Fort Wayne Indiana. After buying a blue '48 Chevy convertible I drove it home with the help of Dennis Dagliere.

I joined the club in the mid 80's and worked the Terryville swap meet, just before we moved to Lake Compounce. Then I quickly became the head of the trash detail. I was a NESRO Rep, ran the Rod Runs at St. Clemens, worked on the Dare T-Bucket, was on the CSRA 30 year committee, and was on the Awards Banquet committee. I was a Chairman for the By-law committee and served as a Board of Director. I serve on the Swap Meet Committee and setup the parking for the entire swap meet. I did the CSRA Clubhouse Cruise Nights, and I run the kid games for N.S.R.A. in Vermont. I currently am the CSRA Clubhouse Event Chairman and Newsletter Editor. I get the mail every week from the PO Box and last but not least I am very proud of having been voted CSRA Street Rodder of the Year in 2004.
